Carphone Warehouse online iPhone sell out

Just like O2, Carphone Warehouse has confirmed it is now out of its initial online stock of iPhone 3G.

The company reassured us that it will have the new breed of Apple mobiles available in-store on 11 July, just not online. Carphone Warehouse also said it expects more stock to come in subsequent to the 11 July launch, urging customers to keep checking online for new stock there, and promising to keep its shops supplied, so long as stock is available.

"We have seen unprecedented demand, it's hugely popular," a spokesman said. "More iPhones will be coming through our stores regularly."
