ustwo launches the Dot 2, 48-hour game for iPhone, iPod touch

Creative studio ustwo™ has released a new game for iPhone and iPod touch in ..™ (or the Dot 2™) – the sequel to the .™ (the Dot™). Both applications took 48 hours to create, as part of a series of 48 hour games planned by the team.

In ..™, the player is a white dot whose existence is dependent on eating the blue dots (FOOD) whilst avoiding the red triangles (DEATH).


Game play manifests itself in a 3D world with a rolling landscape, which speeds the white dot through its quest for survival. See how long you can survive says ustwo™.

ustwo™ has created a demo site so you can try the ..™ for free.

The full game however, uses the iPhone's accelerometer - which promises to adds another dimension to the game.

Available from the Apple iTunes App Store, ..™ costs 59p and requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update.
