Apple takes four more awards

Apple took home four British Technology Awards last week.

The iPhone won in three categories - Best Mobile Technology, Most Stylish Technology and Gadget of the Year – while the iTunes Store won for Best Music Technology.

Additional highlights included the award for Best Home Entertainment Technology which went to BBC iPlayer, which also won the Best Online Technology category.

Business Technology of the Year was the Asus Eee PC.

“We’ve got to the heart of the nation’s technological obsession”, enthused Dylan Armbrust, Group Publishing Director at Incisive Media, organisers of the awards. “It’s been a brilliant year not just for all our winners - particularly Apple - but technology as a whole”

These awards are based on votes registered by the general public and readers of Computeractive and Personal Computer World.
