DPI professional photography show starts Thursday, Islington, London

The Digital Photo and Imaging Show, billed as London’s leading professional photography show and knowledge-based conference, begins this Thursday at Islington’s Business Design Centre.

The two-day event runs on Thursday 18 - from 10am until 6pm - and Friday 19 of June - from 10am until 5pm.


Among those taking part this year are Hasselblad, Nikon, Adobe, Broncolor, Profoto, Apple Solutions Experts, HP, Wacom, supported by leading associations - SWPP, MPA, LPA - and magazines including Macworld and Digital Arts.

The Adobe Theatre will run 45-minute presentations offering the latest tips and tricks for Photoshop CS4, an introduction to Adobe’s video tools for photographers, Lightroom and a seminar on why photographers need powerful colour management.

They will also be a chance to handle the latest Hasselblad Cameras in a live shoot, capturing images and then processing them through Phocus Software, available for Mac and PC.

The Apple Solutions Experts’ Hands-on Theatre in association with DPI will be providing an opportunity to learn about why Macs and cameras make perfect partners. Apple is also providing an overview of Apple solutions for Video for Photographers.

The show is free if you register online by Wednesday, 17 June or 10 on the door.
