Getting Started with Ableton Live comes to Apple Store, Regent Street

Ableton Live expert Martin Delaney visits the flagship Apple Store, Regent Street on Tuesday, 8 September, 2009 to discuss and demo the music making software.

Learn how you can use it for simple audio editing, looping, MP3 DJing, synthesis and beat creation says Apple. The event is free and runs between 5 pm and 6 pm.


Delaney - aka mindlobster - is a Certified Ableton Trainer, author of the Ableton Live Tips & Tricks books, and writer of the monthly Future Music Live tutorials.

"I'll be covering the essential basics of working with Live, then looking at how audio warping has changed in Live 8, maybe having a quick look at the coming Max For Live, and going into using the Akai APC40 and iPhone as control devices for live performance," Delaney tells Macworld.

Delaney is representing Ableton for the Southern England and Midlands dates of the Ableton Live 8/Apple Store tour.
