Hydra 2.0 Aperture plug-in coming at Expo

Creaceed said on Tuesday that users can expect a new version of its Hydra plug-in for Aperture at next week’s Macworld Conference & Expo.

Hydra allows users to create high dynamic range (HDR) images from a series of regular photographs. The application can use up to ten photos to build an HDR image.

Hydra 2.0 will feature a new tone mapper, an improved user experience and “more pro options,” although the company did not specify what those options would be.

Hydra 2.0 will cost $79.95, around 44. Registered 1.x users can upgrade for $20.
