Ask Video releases Pro Tools 8 video training

Ask Video on Thursday released the first in a four part series of Pro Tools 8 training videos.

Pro Tools Level 1 features 32 high-quality tutorial videos for more than 3 hours of instruction. The first level is designed to get new users started and veterans up to speed with the new version of Pro Tools, the company said.

The videos cover installation, setup, and gives you a tour of the interface. You will also learn about recording, editing, as well as Digidesign’s new instruments Boom, MIDI Grand, and Eleven Free.

Ask Video said Pro Tools Level 1 is good for all Pro Tools HD, LE or M-Powered users.

The first DVD in the series is available for $49.99, around 35. A complete chapter list is included on the company’s Web site.
