Europa Universalis: Rome' for Mac available now

Virtual Programming has introduced Europa Universalis: Rome' for the Mac, making the title immediately available as a download, with physical product to ship at a later date.

This is the latest Paradox Interactive title to be published for the Mac. The game uses the Europa Universalis 3 engine and covers the time period from the first Punic War to the start of the true Empire.


Players get thousands of game-play choices ranging from country, culture, provincial and character options to name but a few, making each and every game customizable and truly unique.

The game offers a fully 3D map with integrated graphics and detailed topography. Players can choose between ten different cultures, including the Roman, Celtic, Greek and Egyptian civilizations, with more than 53 playable factions on a map spanning hundreds of provinces.

System requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher; Intel or PPC G5; GeForce 5200; Radeon 9600 (not GMA950); 64MB VRAM; 512MB RAM; 700MB hard disk space. The game costs $39.95.
