Apple to webcast Q1 - 2010 financial results Monday 25th January

Apple has announced it will report financial results for the fiscal first quarter on Monday, January 25the, 2010 at 2 pm PDT/ 5 pm EDT, late evening in the UK.

Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer and COO Tim Cook are likely to take centre stage and results will include the traditionally strong holiday season for Apple.

By Monday 25th, we should also know if the rumoured Apple tablet focused event, likely to be at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center on the Wednesday of the same week, will be reality or not.

"Sources in a position to know tell me Apple (AAPL) is indeed planning a media event later this month at which the company will announce a major new product," tech site All Things Digital, reported earlier this month in a blog with The Wall Street Journal adding the likely Apple tablet would ship in March.
